Kathmandu. On Wednesday, the NEPSE index decreased by 1.64 points to close at 2,711.22 points.

Today, the trading volume has also decreased along with the stock market. Shares worth Rs 3.43 billion were traded on Tuesday and Rs 3.19 billion was traded on Wednesday.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of eight sub-groups have fallen. The index of the remaining 5 sub-groups declined.

Shares of Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd surged 13.74 percent today. Similarly, the share price of Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company has also increased by 6 percent.

Solu Hydropower Ltd is in the top position on the basis of turnover today. Shares worth Rs 22.11 crore were traded on the day.
