Kathmandu. The stock market rose on Monday, the first trading day of the week. On Monday, the NEPSE index increased by 38.19 points to close at 2,783.85 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 6.08 points, while the Float Index has increased by 2.67 points and the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 2.09 points.
Along with the stock market, the trading volume has also increased today. Shares worth Rs 3.28 billion were traded on the previous trading day, which was Rs 4.61 billion today.
The indices of all 13 sub-groups posted a surge today. The index of other sub-groups increased the most by 2.11 percent today. Likewise, the sub-indices of banking, trade, development bank, hydropower, finance, microfinance, non-life insurance, production and processing and investment sub-groups increased by more than 1 percent.
Today, the share price of First Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has increased the most. The company’s share price is up 14.19 percent today. Similarly, the share price of Kumari Dhanbadhi Yojana has increased by more than 11 percent while the share price of Dolti Power has increased by 8.5 percent.
