Around Rs 500,000 revenue collected in traffic drives, 2,500 drivers taken action

. A total of 2,256 drivers were found breaching traffic rules in the past 24 hours. A total of Rs 491,500 has been deposited in the state treasury through this.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has taken action against 151 people for consuming alcohol, 111 for ride-sharing against the traffic rules, 142 for breaching signal lights and 230 for speeding.TAG_OPEN_div_7

Similarly, 33 for flouting lane discipline, 193 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 117 for parking vehicles on the pavement, 118 for driving one-way traffic and 1,161 for flouting other traffic rules were also taken.TAG_OPEN_div_5
