117 tourists rescued, 85 Indians rescued

Kathmandu. A total of 117 tourists stranded due to the Bhotekoshi floods have been rescued. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, 85 Indians, 16 Chinese and 9 Korean tourists have been rescued so far. Two Americans and 2 Italians have also been rescued.

The identities of the other three are yet to be revealed. More than 600 tourists are still out of contact due to the floods. According to trekking and tour companies, many tourists who have gone to Kailash Mansarovar are out of contact.
