KATHMANDU: Ridge Line Energy Limited has called for a general meeting to approve the dividend proposed to be distributed to shareholders from the profits of the last financial year.

The company’s fifth annual general meeting will be held on November 3 at Kupandole Banquet Pvt. Ltd., Kupandole, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-1. The meeting will begin at 10 am.

The AGM will also endorse a proposal of distributing 10.52 percent cash dividend (including tax) to 124 million 36 thousand 842 rupees.

Likewise, the meeting will endorse the proposal to approve the institutional guarantee of the Rastriya Banijya Bank for the loan of Dudhpokhari Chepe Hydropower.

Similarly, the meeting will present the proposal of handing over or selling the survey license for the power generation of the 12.504 MW Maiwakhola Hydropower Project, electing a director representing the general shareholders and appointing an auditor.

For the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution, the company will close the book on October 7. Accordingly, the shareholders who have been traded on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) till October 8 will be able to attend the AGM and receive the proposed dividend.
