Kathmandu. MeroAuto Ride 4.0 (Fourth Edition) will be held on September 3 (Friday).
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Automotives Pvt. Ltd. is organizing a ride from Kathmandu to the historic Gorkha Durbar.
The ride will start from Nepal Tourism Board at 8:00 am and end at Gorkha via Sitapaila-Dharke-Galchhi-Muglin-Abukhaireni.
Various recreational and sports activities will also be held during the ride. In addition, Total Energy will also run a care camp in Muglin.
Hari Prasad Gajurel, Managing Director of Automotives Pvt Ltd, said that the ride was organized to promote domestic tourism, develop riding culture and promote brotherhood among riders.
“We have been organizing the ride continuously for the last 4 years. Its main objective is to promote domestic tourism, develop riding culture and increase the brotherhood of riders,” he said. He said that the ride will be continued in the coming years as well.
The main sponsor of the ride is Total Energy. Similarly, Royal Enfield, Hero, Yamaha, Honda, Bajaj and Morbidelli are powered by seated tyres.
The Meroauto Ride has been organized continuously for the last 4 years. The first edition was held in 2080 BS at Patale in Solukhumbu, the second edition in 2081 at Brabal in Rasuwa and the third edition in Kharidhunga of Dolakha last year.
