Kathmandu. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited and Himalayan Bullion Company Limited have entered into an agreement to provide accident insurance to the customers and members.

According to the agreement, eligible customers of Himalayan Bullion’s membership scheme will get Salico’s accident insurance facility according to their membership level. Customers of silver membership will get up to Rs 1 lakh, Gold membership customers will get up to Rs 5 lakh and Diamond membership customers will get accident insurance cover up to Rs 10 lakh.

This insurance facility will be applicable from the next Ghatasthapana. This collaboration has been done with the objective of providing this type of protection to the customers and members of Himalayan Bullion by reducing the financial risk arising out of accidental accidents.

Under this MoU, the insurance facility will be covered in accidental death and permanent or temporary disablement and accident related medical expenses as mentioned in the membership plan.

The collaboration aims to combine customer service and safety with an opportunity to the members of Himalayan Bullion to get additional safety benefits along with their subscription plans.

SALICO said it has been expanding its insurance penetration to meet the changing needs and risks of its customers and has been working in collaboration with various organizations to provide more effective insurance coverage.
