Kathmandu. Deep Chandra Regmi has been promoted as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) of Global IME Bank.

He was promoted to the post as per the decision of the board of directors of the bank held on Tuesday. The newly appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer Regmi was working as the Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the bank.

Regmi started his banking career in 2007 from Standard Chartered Bank of Nepal and has been associated with Global IME Bank since 2009.

He has also served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), Chief Credit Officer (CLO) and Trade Finance Head of the bank.

He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global IME Capital, a subsidiary of the bank. Regmi holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand and the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.
