New Delhi: Veteran actor Nana Patekar passed away on Thursday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest, according to doctors at Manipal Hospital.
According to Dr Shekhar Salkar, head of the oncology department of Manipal Hospital, Patekar was brought to the hospital after he fell ill at his residence in the morning. His condition was critical when he was taken to the hospital. The team of doctors tried to revive him for about 45 minutes to an hour, but could not be saved, Dr Salkar said.
