Kathmandu. Hotel Chitwan Company, which was operated by Chaudhary Group, has made a business of Rs 61.2 million in seven months of 2024. The business of this hotel has decreased compared to the previous year. In 2023, the company had a turnover of Rs 128.4 million.
Similarly, the hotel had a turnover of Rs 114.3 million in 2022. In 2021, the company did business worth Rs 74.3 million. The company’s operating income (OBIDTA/OI) stood at 10 per cent in the seven months of 2024. In 2024, the company’s revenue was 24.2 percent.
Similarly, in 2022, the company’s OBIDTA was negative by 0.8 percent. The hotel’s obidta, which was 31.2 percent in 2021, became negative in 2022. In 2020, it was 0.1 percent. The hotel has also received a loan rating of Rs 1.26 billion. The hotel has been rated for short-term and long-term loans. Rating agency ICRA Nepal has rated the company’s debt as ‘ICRANP-A4’.
This hotel was established in 1080. This hotel is located in Bharatpur, Chitwan. The three-star hotel has 48 rooms. The hotel also includes 70 retail outlets and a commercial mall with multiplexes. The total construction area of this complex is 180,000 square feet. The hotel operates under the brand ‘Vivanta’ and the commercial mall is known as ‘CG Landmark’. Nirvana Kumar Chaudhary holds 53.3 per cent stake, Sarika Chaudhary 6.5 per cent and Apollo Capital Investment Company 40.2 per cent.
