Kathmandu. On behalf of Thai Airways, a blood donation program was organized by GSA Society International Travels of the airline. The program was organized at Hatisar of Kathmandu with the theme ‘Give the Gift of Life’. The programme was held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

According to Society International Travels, this blood donation program has been organized as a part of human service and social responsibility. The company’s main objective and responsibility is to support patients in need of blood in emergencies and to play a responsible role to the community.

Thai Airways had urged everyone to join hands in the noble cause of saving lives by participating in blood donation. “Your small contribution can save someone’s life,” Thai Airways said in a statement.

A total of 131 people including Society International Family, various travel agencies and service providers donated blood in the programme. Nepal Red Cross Society provided clinical and medical support on the occasion.

On the occasion, certificates were also presented to all the participating blood donors as a mark of thanks.
