Ramechhap-Kathmandu route to be operated 3 days a week

Monthly. Kathmandu – Flights will be operated on the Ramechhap-Kathmandu route from today. Summit, Sita and Tara Air have started operating flights regularly from today at the joint initiative of local administration, political parties, people’s representatives and civil society.

The Ramechhap-Lukla route has been operating 50 to 60 flights daily since some days. The flights were resumed after the BP Highway was blocked due to heavy rainfall on October 1, 18 and 19.

The distance from Manthali to Kathmandu via BP Highway is 125 kilometers and from Charikot to Dolalghat the distance is around 200 kilometers. According to the Civil Aviation Office, Ramechhap, from now on, Tara Air will operate regular flights from Ramechhap to Kathmandu every Wednesday, Sita on Friday and Saturday.
