Kathmandu. From the profit of the fiscal year 2081/82, 56 companies have announced dividends to their investors. As of December 11, 56 companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) have declared dividends for the shareholders.
During this period, 12 commercial banks, 8 development banks and 3 finance companies have declared dividends.
Similarly, 15 hydropower companies, 8 microfinance companies listed in NEPSE, 3 life insurance companies, 2 non-life insurance companies and 2 hotel companies have declared dividend during the period.
Similarly, a tourism company and Muktinath Agriculture Company have announced to distribute dividends to their investors from the profit of the last fiscal year.
Everest Bank is the first commercial bank to distribute the highest dividend from the profit of the last fiscal year. The bank has announced a dividend of 20 percent to its investors and bonus shares.
Standard Chartered is the second commercial bank to pay the highest dividend during this period. The bank has declared a 19 percent cash dividend to its shareholders.
Similarly, Agricultural Development Bank is the third commercial bank to distribute the highest dividend. It has declared a 13 percent dividend to its investors.

Muktinath Bikas Bank is the largest development bank that has distributed the highest dividend during this period. The bank has given its investors Rs 18.50 billion. The company has announced a dividend of 20 percent.
Similarly, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank is the second development bank to distribute the highest dividend. The development bank has received Rs 15.5 billion from the profit of the last fiscal year. The company has announced a dividend of 78 percent.
Synersung Development Bank is the third largest bank in this period. It has announced a 13 percent dividend to its investors.

Three microfinance companies have announced to pay 15 percent dividend from the profit of the last fiscal year.

During this period, only three finance companies have declared dividends to their investors from the profit of the last financial year. Shree Investment Finance Company, ICFC Finance Company and Manjushree Finance Company have declared dividends during the period.

Similarly, 15 hydropower companies have distributed dividends from the profit of the last fiscal year. Century Energy Company is the hydropower company that has paid the highest dividend from the profit of the last fiscal year. The company has paid a dividend of 35 percent. Similarly, Sahas Energy has paid 22.10 percent dividend while Mountain Energy has paid 21.05 percent dividend from the profit of the last FY.

Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has been the largest company among the three life insurance companies that distributed dividend from the profit of the last fiscal year. The company has declared a dividend of 21.05 percent from the profit of the last FY.
There are two non-life insurance companies that have announced to distribute dividends from the profit of the last fiscal year till December 10. Siddhartha Premier Insurance and IGI Prudential Company have announced dividends to their investors from the profit of the last financial year.

Taragaon Regency Hotel and Soaltee Hotel have declared dividend from the profit of the last fiscal year. Similarly, Muktinath Agriculture Company has declared 8.42 percent dividend from the profit of the last FY. Similarly, Kalinchowk Darshan Company has also declared dividend from the profit of the last fiscal year.
