. On the occasion of its 22nd Foundation Day, F1Soft International has announced the appointment of Sanat Kumar Poudel as its new Chief Executive Officer.

After Subash Sharma, the co-founder and director of the company, Poudel will lead the company.TAG_OPEN_p_11 Mr. Sharma has been the CEO of Nepal for more than a decade in development and expansion of services such as mobile payments, digital wallets, internet payment systems and digital credit systems. He will now be in charge of strategic direction as director.

Poudel is currently the Chief Executive Officer of FoneNext Pvt. Ltd.TAG_OPEN_p_10 With his new responsibilities, he will lead both organizations. Prior to this, he also worked with Nabil Bank for over ten years and managed payment technology management and led digital transformation programme. He is considered to be a veteran of the information technology sector with more than two decades of experience.

Subash Sharma said that the company’s 22-year journey in course of the leadership transfer was the result of collective hard work and expressed the belief that Poudel’s leadership would further strengthen the organization in the coming journey.TAG_OPEN_p_9

TAG_OPEN_p_8 FoneSoft was one of the first organizations to launch mobile payment services in Nepal. The company, which currently constructs major digital wallets, interoperable payment systems and infrastructures to help mobilize digital credit systems in the country, has collaborated with banks and financial institutions to accelerate its journey towards a cashless economy.
