Kathmandu. There has been a slight improvement in the stock market. The index, which measures the market, increased by 5.36 points to sit at 2,838.40 points.

A total of 1,80,63,728 units of shares of 335 companies worth Rs 7.46 billion were traded.

The sub-indices of hotels, hydropower, production and processing and other groups increased while the sub-indices of other groups decreased. The prices of 108 companies increased while the prices of 150 companies declined.

The price of 5 companies has hit the positive circuit.
