Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower on Thursday. On Thursday, the NEPSE index decreased by 5.73 points to close at 2,738.72 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.07 points, while the Float Index decreased by 0.29 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.01 points.
Along with the stock market, the trading volume has also decreased. A total of 10.97 million units of shares worth Rs 4.91 billion were traded in the market today, compared to Rs 4.98 billion on the previous trading day.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 2 sub-groups have increased while the indices of 11 sub-groups have fallen.
Today, the share price of Srinagar Agritech Industries has increased the most. Today, the company’s share price is up 12.57 percent. Shares of Shikhar Power Development and Asian Hydropower Ltd rose nearly 8 percent today. The share price of Corporate Development Bank was the biggest loser on the day, falling by 10.38 percent.
Today, Reliance Spinning Mills is in the top position on the basis of transaction amount. The company’s shares worth Rs 26.75 crore were traded on the day.
