Kathmandu. Kathmandu. The government has given approval in principle to purchase chemical fertilizers from India through G2G medium. As per the decision of the Council of Ministers, the Agriculture Inputs Company Limited has been given the responsibility to purchase 60,000 metric tonnes of urea and 20,000 metric tonnes of DAP fertilizer.
The decision was taken to increase agriculture production and provide chemical fertilizers to the farmers on time. The government is actively working to address the problem of shortage of fertilizer, according to the bodies concerned.
