According to Information Officer Bista, the general public has been requested to travel only after knowing the condition of the highway and the road users have been requested not to travel on that section until further notice.TAG_OPEN_div_16 The road section from Chaukidanda of Namobuddha municipality in Kavrepalanchowk to Nepalthok of Sindhuli has been obstructed due to frequent floods in the Roshi rivulet.
The BP TAG_OPEN_div_14 Highway was reopened after two days after the flooded Roshi River blocked the road in the third week of April. The incessant rainfall had washed away a diversion of around four kilometres at Roshi area of Kavrepalanchowk along the highway.
{{TAG_OPEN_div_12} Temporary diversions were constructed again in the third week of March after the road was swept away in different places of the same area. Last year, the floods and landslides swept away 18-km road in Chaukidanda, Roshi and Nepalthok areas of Sindhuli. Currently, a permanent road is being constructed in the area, according to the office.
According to the District Traffic Police Office, Dhulikhel, Kavrebhanjyang, Mangaltar and Nepalthok of Sindhuli have been put on hold due to the obstruction of the highway.TAG_OPEN_div_10
