Kathmandu. On the last trading day of this week, the stock market is in the green.

The index, which measures the market, increased by 27.49 points to sit at 2745.65 points.

A total of 74,78,562 units of shares of 335 companies were traded for Rs 2,28,68,70,559 in the market.

All the sub-indices of the market have increased. Banking sector increased 0.67 per cent, development bank 0.95 per cent, finance 1.87 per cent, hotel and tourism 1.48 per cent, hydropower 1.71 per cent, investment 1.10 per cent, life insurance 0.62 and production and processing 1.40 per cent. Likewise, microfinance group increased 0.16 per cent, mutual fund 0.55 per cent, non-life insurance 1.52 per cent and others 1.13 per cent.

The share price of Trishuli Hydropower Company has increased by 10 percent today. The biggest loser was Swalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd, which saw its share price fall by 6.54 percent.
