Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Thursday. On Thursday, the NEPSE index decreased by 10.07 points to close at 2,730.17 points.

Although the stock market has decreased today, there has been a slight improvement in the transaction amount. Shares worth Rs 3.29 billion were traded in the market on the previous trading day i.e. Rs 2.80 billion.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 3 sub-groups have increased. The index of the remaining 10 sub-groups decreased. The indices of life insurance, mutual funds and business sub-groups increased marginally. The index of other sub-groups decreased the most by 2 percent on the day.

Today, the share price of Union Hydropower has increased by 9.79 percent. Himalayan Re-Insurance Company Ltd topped the list on the basis of turnover volume today.
