First flight to India from Pokhara International Airport

Kathmandu. Pokhara—A ‘Medical Rescue’ flight has taken off from Pokhara International Airport to Raja Bhoj International Airport in Madhya Pradesh, India.

Shambhu Dayal Srivastava of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, who fell ill on his way back after visiting Muktinath, was taken home from Pokhara on medical charter.TAG_OPEN_div_20

According to Pokhara Airport, there were 6 passengers including one patient, three health workers and two relatives of the patients on board.TAG_OPEN_div_18 “There has been direct flight from Pokhara to India for the first time.
