Gorkha. The two-day free health check-up camp was organized by Cancer Council Nepal and Dharmabhakta Human Organ Transplant Centre, Bhaktapur in collaboration with Everest Bank and Arughat Rural Municipality.
The camp was attended by Arughat Rural Municipality Ward No. More than 600 people from Ward No. 1, 2 and 3 underwent health check-up. In the two-day free health camp, 110 people underwent heart echo test and video X-ray of 250 people. Urine test, kidney test and other services were provided free of cost and medicines were also distributed free of cost on the basis of test test.
Cardiologist Dr. According to Dr. Sachin Lamichhane, heart and kidney problems are seen among the people living in rural areas. He said that many of the people who came to the camp for check-up were suffering from heart and kidney problems due to high blood pressure.
Similarly, radiologist Dr. Mr. Allin said that he is very happy to be able to provide health check-up services in the rural areas. Participating in the camp, Dr. Gaurav Pant, Dr. Health workers Lochan Shrestha, Bibek Dangol and Brijesh Yadav pledged to participate in such health camps in the coming days as well.

Similarly, program coordinator of Shaheed Dharmabhakta Human Organ Transplant Centre, Dr. Dr. Gaurav Pant thanked Cancer Council Nepal for providing the opportunity to conduct this health camp. He said that he was ready to organize such health camps in collaboration with the Cancer Council Nepal in the coming days as well.
On the occasion, Cancer Council Nepal’s Chairman Rudra Lal Kadariya thanked the Martyr Dharmabhakta Human Organ Transplant Center on behalf of the organizing organization Cancer Council Nepal and praised the work done by the center. He said that such health camps in rural areas would provide great relief to the locals.
Cancer Council Nepal’s Program Coordinator Dinesh Dhakal expressed happiness for being a part of a noble cause like health service. Stating that such health camps would directly benefit the people of rural areas, he expressed his commitment to continue participating in health related programs in the coming days as well.
On the occasion, Arughat Rural Municipality Chairman Raju Gurung thanked the organizer organisation, Cancer Council Nepal and Martyr Dharmabhakta Human Organ Transplant Centre. Appreciating the services rendered by the doctors and health workers in the rural municipality, he urged the government to run such programmes in the coming days as well.
On the occasion, Principal of Bhawani Secondary School Kajiram Karki, teachers of the school, volunteer students and all those who helped to make the program a success, Gurung appreciated the contribution of the school’s teachers, volunteer students and all those who helped to make the program a success.
Saru Koju, Human Organ Transplant Coordinator of Shaheed Dharmabhakta Human Organ Transplant Centre, highlighted the importance of organ donation and urged all to support the campaign. He said that the Martyr Dharmabhakta Human Organ Transplant Centre has been making significant contribution in the human organ transplant sector.
