Rs 6.26 billion revenue collected from real estate business in April, how much from which place?

Kathmandu. The government has collected Rs 6.26 billion in revenue from real estate transactions in the current fiscal year.

According to the data of the Department of Land Management and Archives, there were 1,69,538 real estate transactions in the month of April. Similarly, 58,886 instruments were passed in April.

According to the Department, the land revenue offices in the Kathmandu Valley collect the highest revenue in the month of Baisakh.  The Dilli Bazar Land Revenue Office collected Rs 59.91 crore in revenue in April.

Similarly, the Lagankhel (Lalitpur) office collected Rs 52 crore 96 lakh 77 thousand 192 while the Bhaktapur office collected Rs 47 crore 14 lakh 19 thousand 451.

The Chabahil office collected Rs 42 crore 65 lakh 10 thousand 111 while the Kalanki office collected Rs 41 crore 99 lakh 32 thousand 882. Outside the Kathmandu Valley, Kaski (Pokhara) collected Rs 262 million 55 thousand 473 while Chitwan office collected Rs 210 million 1 lakh 20 thousand 864.

Out of the total Rs 6.26 billion collected in April, Rs 3.31 billion was collected from registration fee and Rs 2.55 billion from capital gains tax. Similarly, Rs 34.40 crore has been collected from service tax and Rs 44.88 crore from Chief Minister’s Sanitation Campaign fund.
