Siruwari landslide obstructs Beni-Jomsom road section

Myagdi. MUSTANG: The Myagdi section of the Beni-Jomsom-Korala road section linking Korala transit point to China via Mustang has been obstructed since early this morning.

The 76-km Beni-Jomsom road has been cut off after a landslide occurred at Raghuganga Rural Municipality-2 in Myagdi district.TAG_OPEN_div_11 According to Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Sagar Timilsina, equipment has been mobilized to resume the obstructed road in coordination with the Department of Roads and the Beni-Jomsom-Korala Road Project.

Vehicles coming from Beni to Mustang and Jomsom to Beni have been stranded due to the road obstruction.TAG_OPEN_div_9 Locals as well as tourists and pilgrims visiting Mustang and visiting Muktinath have been affected.
