Kathmandu. The government has announced to establish the Mines Authority through the budget for the coming fiscal year. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has said that a new authority will be established to make the overall development, regulation and exploration of mines and minerals sector effective.

Similarly, the government has decided to excavate petroleum products based in Dailekh district. Necessary steps will be taken for further exploration and excavation in the area based on preliminary study and feasibility.
