Budget as per RSP’s promise, 5-point contract: Dr Swarnim Wagle

. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has said that the budget for the coming fiscal year has internalized the spirit of the 5-point agreement forwarded by the RSP.

The Finance Minister has organized a special interaction program with media persons to provide detailed information about the priorities and programs of the budget for the coming fiscal year 208 TAG_OPEN_div_16 3/84. Dr Wagle said that the budget presented by the government would be compatible with the concept of good governance, good conduct and employment. According to him, most of the priorities forwarded by the RSP have been incorporated in the budget.

He said that the policies and programs have been brought with the goal of creating employment from one million to 12 lakh in the coming fiscal year.TAG_OPEN_div_14 Stating that the issues of good governance and good conduct have gained more importance after the RSP entered politics, he claimed that the budget has also adopted it.

He said he was aware that there was a lot of criticism in the market about the size of the budget and the public debt.TAG_OPEN_div_12 Stating that every year there is debate whether the budget is big and whether it will be implemented or not, he said that the budget should not be evaluated only on the basis of marks.

“In economics, conclusions are not drawn by just looking at numbers. The big numbers should be compared with the gross domestic product (GDP),” he said.
