Kathmandu. The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has directed the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to recover Rs 26.95 billion from 61 consumers consuming electricity from dedicated feeder/trunk line.
As per the directive issued by the Ministry to the NEA, the dues have reached Rs 26.95 billion as of mid-January 2082. According to NEA, the outstanding dues have increased by Rs 917.6 million 68 thousand 42 in the period of six months.
According to NEA, the total amount stood at Rs 26.03 billion as of mid-July 2002. The amount has been distributed to NRA’s Koshi Regional Office Biratnagar, Madhesh Provincial Office Janakpur, Bagmati Provincial Office Kathmandu, Lumbini Provincial Office Butwal and Lumbini Provincial Division Office Nepalgunj.
