Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has sought suggestions for the monetary policy for the fiscal year 2083/084.

According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, it has to give suggestions for the upcoming monetary policy by June 5.

According to the NRB, as per the provision in the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058, the suggestions for the monetary policy for the fiscal year 2083/84 to be formulated by the bank can be sent to the email of the Department of Economic Research by July 20, 2083.

The monetary policy for the coming fiscal year is being formulated.

Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Kiran Pandit said that the monetary policy would be formulated on the basis of some programs and targets have already been set through the budget.

He said that the central bank is closely studying the reaction of the market.
