Myagdi. A switchyard with a capacity of 220 KV has come into operation at Tilkenichaur of Raghuganga rural municipality- 3 in Myagdi district. The equipment in the switchyard receives the energy generated from the generator in the power house and supplies it to the transmission line.

Raghughat Hydropower Project, a subsidiary of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), has connected 127.8 MW electricity from four hydropower projects in the Rahughat corridor to the national grid.

Chief of Rahughat Hydropower Project, Raj Bahadur Bista, said that the equipment installed in the switchyard has been connected to the national grid from Monday after the successful test.

The electricity generated from the Rahughat Hydropower Project, which is in the final phase of construction, will also be connected to the central system through this switchyard and transmission line. According to Ganesh KC, managing director of Raghuganga Hydropower, the construction of physical infrastructures for tunnel, dam and powerhouse is in the final phase.
