Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has nominated its presidents and advisors to various councils, committees and centers. After the second executive committee meeting of the FNCCI held on Monday, President Anjan Shrestha assigned responsibilities to various office-bearers and executive members as per the statute.

Likewise, former president Mahesh Lal Pradhan has been nominated as the president of the advisory committee while another former president Kush Kumar Joshi has been nominated as the chair of the expert council.

Likewise, Krishna Prasad Sharma and Dil Sundar Shrestha have been appointed as the chairperson and vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Naresh Lal Shrestha has been nominated as the president of the Commodity Council and Prabal Jung Pandey as the President of the Employers Council.

Shiva Prasad Ghimire has been appointed as the chairperson of Agriculture Entrepreneurship Centre, Araniko Rajbhandari as the president of the Tax and Revenue Committee, Ujjwal Shrestha as the president of the Industry Committee, Nabin Rijal as the president of the trade committee and Sunita Nemafuki as the president of the Women Entrepreneurs Development Committee.

Likewise, Sunaina Ghimire has been elected as the chairperson of Information and Communication Technology Development Committee, Lilendra Prasad Pradhan as the chairman of the Land Transport and Transit Committee, Sangharsha Bista as the President of Tourism and Air Transport Committee, Hemanta Golchha as the Chairman of the Bank, Financial and Insurance Committee, Hom Prasad Ghimire as the President of the Export Committee and Sabin Shrestha as the President of the Trade Fair Committee.

Likewise, Bidur Dhamala has been appointed as the chair of the Urban Development Committee, Biplav Adhikari as the chairman of the Health Science Committee, Nani Raj Ghimire as the chairman of the Skill Development and Employment Committee, Sahara Joshi as the chair of the Startup and Innovation Committee, Priyaraj Regmi as the chairman of the Capital Market Committee, Raj Kumar Karki as the chairman of the Social Service Committee and Rabin Puri as the chairman of the Productivity and Quality Committee.

FNCCI President Anjan Shrestha said the nomination was made as per the Article 37 of the FNCCI statute and expressed the belief that the newly-appointed presidents would play an effective role in promoting the image, prestige and interest of the private sector.
