Kathmandu. Both the stock market and the trading volume fell on Thursday. On Thursday, the NEPSE index decreased by 8.50 points to close at 2,651.52 points.

Today, the trading volume has also decreased along with the stock market. Shares worth Rs 4.41 billion were traded in the market on the previous trading day, which was Rs 2.83 billion today.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of one sub-group have increased while the indices of 12 sub-groups have fallen. The indices of the production and processing sub-group increased marginally today.

Similarly, on the basis of transaction volume, Sopan Pharmaceuticals topped the list today. The company’s shares worth Rs 12.77 crore were traded today.

The share prices of the two companies traded at the positive circuit level today. Shares of Taksar Pikhuwa Khola Hydropower and Yambaling Hydropower Ltd were traded at positive circuit level today.
