Fake Bhutanese refugee case: Balkrishna Khand sentenced to two years in jail, fined Rs 20,000

Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has slapped a two-year jail term and a fine of Rs 20,000 on former home minister Bal Krishna Khand.

A single bench of Kathmandu District Court Judge Tej Bahadur Khadka handed down the verdict to Khand on Tuesday.

The case has been imposed a jail term of 6 months and a fine of Rs 5,000 and a jail term of three months.

The court slapped a two-year jail term and a fine of Rs 20,000.
