Stock market rises to Rs 8.41 billion 

Kathmandu. On Tuesday, the second trading day of the week, the stock market was positive. On Tuesday, the NEPSE index increased by 6.11 points to close at 2,576.29 points. The stock market rose 0.23 percent today. On Tuesday, the NEPSE index decreased by 30.60 points to close at 2,570.18 points.

Similarly, the transaction amount has also been encouraging today. Shares worth Rs 8.41 billion were traded in the stock market on Tuesday. Shares worth Rs 7.46 billion were traded in the market on Monday.

The share prices of 164 companies that were traded today increased by {{TAG_OPEN_div_20}. The share prices of 101 companies have fallen, while the price of shares of 10 companies has remained unchanged.

Out of 13 sub-groups, price of shares of 12 sub-groups has increased while the price of shares of other seven sub-groups has fallen.TAG_OPEN_div_18 The share price of the production and processing sub-group decreased today.

Today, the ‘9 percent Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Debenture 2087’ increased by 10.22 percent.TAG_OPEN_div_16 Similarly, the price of Shangri-La Development Bank Debentures 2087 has increased by 10 percent today.

On the basis of transaction amount, 10 percent of KBL Debentures 2090 worth Rs 527.1 million was traded today while 10 percent of NIMB Debentures 2090 worth more than Rs 390 million were traded.TAG_OPEN_div_14
