Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to hold a special meeting with the office-bearers and representatives of the Shoe Manufacturers Association at 11.30 am today at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

The meeting will be attended by President Suraj Banjade, immediate past President Rudra Neupane, Secretary Nirmal Bhattarai, advisor Kalidas Gautam, working committee member Saroj Bhattarai and representative Bidushi Rana.

The meeting will hold detailed discussions on the promotion of domestic footwear and footwear industry, market management, ways to make the industry self-reliant, challenges of production and marketing as well as policy reforms related to this sector.
