Iran’s envoy says U.S. peace efforts are mere rhetoric

. Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has questioned the US commitment to peace and accused Washington of lacking the will to implement the diplomatic deal.

} He said that the U.S. peace effort is limited to speech, not practice. In a series of posts posted on X, Ambassador Moghadam accused the US side of not showing any willingness or intention to fulfill its diplomatic commitments.

“The reluctance of the US side to wait even 60 days to violate the MoU shows the lack of seriousness, determination, willpower and intention to make any agreement a success,” he wrote.TAG_OPEN_div_17

Moghadam accused the United States of ignoring peace and stability, saying its call for peace was limited to rhetoric.TAG_OPEN_div_15 The envoy said that Washington’s real purpose is not to compromise but to create destabilization by any means.

Referring to past US policy toward Iran, Moghaldam said President Donald Trump “destroyed two important achievements in contemporary diplomatic history”.TAG_OPEN_div_13 He cited the US withdrawal from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal and the dispute over the implementation of the Pakistan-brokered MoU as examples.
