Bombay High Court remands Agrawal to judicial custody

Kathmandu. The Patan High Court has remanded Shankar Lal Agrawal, the chairman of Shankar Group, to judicial custody for further investigation.

A division bench of Justices Arjun Prasad Koirala and Kabi Prasad Neupane issued the order on Thursday.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police on Wednesday arrested Agrawal from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30, Dilli Bazaar on the charge of banking fraud.

Agrawal has been arrested in connection with the case filed against Deepak Bhatta under the Banking Offences and Punishment Act, 2064 BS.
