Kathmandu. NIC ASIA Capital Limited has announced various special discounts and facilities including free Demat and Mero Share service under the Depository Member (DP) service for the fiscal year 2083/84.

In continuation of its long-standing “One Nepali, One Demat Account” campaign, the company has provided most of its deposit member services entirely through digital medium. In addition, NIC ASIA Bank Limited has been providing services like opening and renewal of Demat and Mero Share Account through all its branches.

The company has implemented various schemes in the current fiscal year with the objective of expanding customer-friendly, easy and accessible service.

According to the company, a free Demat account will be made available to the customers who open a new Demat account. In addition, the first year demat account renewal fee will also be fully waived.

The scheme ‘NIC ASIA Student Demat Service’ has also been launched with the objective of attracting students towards securities market and raising awareness about investment. Under this scheme, students will get free Demat account, full waiver on first year Demat renewal fee and free Mero Share account registration.

Similarly, with a view to long-term renewal of Demat and Mero Share accounts, the company has also introduced a lifetime renewal scheme. Under this, a lump sum of Rs. Renewal of Demat account for life on payment of Rs. 999 If I make a lump sum payment of Rs. 1,000, I will get the facility of renewal of my share account for life. This facility will be applicable only till the end of Shrawan 2083.

NIC Asia Bank has also provided special facilities to the customers opening a demat account. The customers who open a Demat account using the bank’s fixed savings account will be provided free Demat and My Share account along with a waiver on the first year’s demat renewal fee.

Lately, the company has made its services more technology-friendly and has been providing most of its services online with the slogan ‘Not on line, but online’. Through the capital’s website, customers can easily open Demat and Mero Share account for free.
