Kathmandu. On the last trading day of the week, the stock market rose by double digits. The index, which measures the market, increased by 12.96 points to sit at 2685.54 points.
Today, 8,851,216 units of shares of 337 companies were traded at a total of Rs 3.75 billion.
The value of 180 companies increased while 82 declined. Today, the sub-indices of all sub-groups except non-living have increased.
The banking group has caught the attention of investors today. Except for NIC and Standard Chartered, the share prices of all the banks have increased.
