Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower on Thursday. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell 13.82 points to close at 2,654.15 points today.
Although the stock market has fallen, the trading volume has increased today. Shares worth Rs 4.62 billion were traded in the market today compared to Rs 4.4 billion on Wednesday.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of one sub-group have increased while the indices of 12 sub-groups have fallen.
Share price of Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company Ltd was traded at positive circuit level today. The company’s share price rose by Rs 53.10 to Rs 407.20 on the day.
