Kathmandu. National Home Construction Fest-2083 is going to be held for the first time in Nepal with the concept of ‘Digital Fest’. According to the organizers, a separate multipurpose studio will be set up at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu for the digital fest.
This year’s National House Construction Fest-2083 will be held at Bhrikutimandap from December 22 to 26. The participating brands, companies, and organizations will be able to release their products, offerings, and advertising materials through the studio. Arrangements have been made to broadcast the content live through national television and the organizers’ social networks.
According to the organizers, the main objective of Digital Fest is not limited to physical presence but also to reach out to visitors outside Kathmandu and international audiences. It is also expected to help in the national and international promotion of domestic products and services.
According to the organizers, the fest has been linked to digital medium in the context of increasing use of technology and changing nature of social media and content marketing in recent years. The organizers believe that through the digital fest, Nepalis and potential buyers living outside Nepal will be connected to the big exhibition of construction in Nepal.
Last year, 150 stalls were set up but this time more than 200 stalls are being set up. According to the Foundation, around 60 percent of the stall bookings have been done so far.
The organizers expect that the number of visitors will increase significantly in this year’s fest. In addition, the fest is expected to generate a turnover of more than Rs 4 billion. Trinox Global has partnered with the Fest to provide all information about construction materials, technology and services required for house construction from one place.
More than 60,000 visitors had visited the second edition of the National House Construction Fest-2082 held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu from December 28 to 29. More than 150 stalls were set up in the fest. The organizers said they are planning to expand the exhibition this year.
The fest is being organized with the objective of bringing the general public, construction entrepreneurs, engineers, architects, students and other stakeholders on a single platform.
According to Home Construction Foundation, despite the growing construction and commercial activities in Nepal, many brands are facing challenges to present their identity effectively, build relationships with customers and showcase their products in a more organized and attractive way. According to the Foundation, the fest is being organized to establish direct contact between entrepreneurs and customers by addressing these challenges.
Last year, the participants of the exhibition had a total transaction of more than Rs 3.5 billion.
