Kathmandu. Sanima Reliance Life Insurance Company has published its financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last FY. The company’s net profit increased by 1.69 percent in a year.
The company has earned a net profit of Rs 38.38 crore in the review period of the last FY. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 37.74 crore in the same period last year.
In the review period, the insurance company’s net earned premium increased by 16.17 percent to Rs 7.85 billion. Similarly, the total income during the review period increased by 10.49 percent to Rs 9.60 billion.
The company’s net claim payment increased by 10.31 percent to Rs 7.21 billion in the review period. The total expenses of the company increased by 10.87 percent to Rs 9.22 billion.
Along with the company’s profit, the earnings per share have also increased modestly. In the review period, the income of the insurance company increased by 13 paise to Rs 7.65 crore. As of mid-July 2018, the insurance company has a price-to-earnings ratio of 49.49 times and a net worth per share of Rs 112.62.
The company has paid-up capital of Rs 5.01 billion and Rs 18.59 crore in capital of Maha Disaster Fund, Rs 35.98 crore in retained earnings and Rs 8.68 crore in other equity.
