Kathmandu. Palpa Cement Industries Limited has earned a net profit of Rs 3,99,92,666 in the fourth quarter of the current FY. The net profit of the company decreased by 59 percent compared to the same period of the previous FY.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 9,75,45,772 in the same quarter last year.
The company’s operating income has increased. In the review period, Palpa Cement earned an operating income of Rs 4.76 billion. Such income was Rs 4.11 billion in the same period of the previous FY. Based on this, the company’s operating income increased by 15.9 percent.
Although income has increased, operating profit has declined. The company’s operating profit stood at Rs 42.93 crore in the second quarter of the current FY. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 68.64 crore in the same quarter last year. Operating profit decreased by 37.45 percent.
Similarly, the total profit of the company stood at Rs 77,34,66,385. Such profit was Rs 1,08,17,25,063 in the same period of the previous FY. Net profit also decreased by 23.28 percent.
The company has recently started trading in the secondary market by issuing primary shares (IPO). After the IPO issuance, the company’s shares are listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) during the review period stood at Rs 1.23 per share. Similarly, the net worth per share of the company is Rs 129.15.
