Kathmandu. Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIBL) has announced its unaudited financial results for the end of the current fiscal year.
The bank has earned a net profit of Rs 2.74 billion in the same period last year. The profit of the bank has decreased by 36.58 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 4.33 billion in the same quarter last year.
The bank’s net interest income decreased to Rs 12.98 billion in the same period of the last FY from Rs 14.20 billion in the same period of the previous FY. Similarly, the bank’s net fee and commission income has increased to Rs 2.23 billion from Rs 2.20 billion.
The bank’s operating profit declined to Rs 4.34 billion from Rs 6.73 billion.
The distributable profit of the bank stood at Rs 5.08 billion as of mid-July last year.
The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 34.12 billion and reserve fund of Rs 38.43 billion.
During the period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 526.63 billion and extended loan of Rs 321.34 billion.
The bank has EPS of Rs 8.05 and net worth per share of Rs 197.71. The non-performing loan of the bank has increased from 6.35 percent to 8.66 percent.
