Hilife’s Nepali food products officially launched in Tokyo

Tokyo. The food products of Hilife Foods and Agro Industries Limited produced in Nepal have officially entered the Japanese market. During a special program held in Tokyo, the company’s products like beaten rice, lentils, millet flour were launched in the Japanese market.

The event was inaugurated by Nima Ruma as the chief guest and Tika Shrestha as the special guest and Dr. Pramod Shrestha, President of Japan-Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.TAG_OPEN_p_16 Balaram Shrestha inaugurated the production. The program was chaired by Ambika Prasad Poudel, Chairman of High Life Foods and Agro Industries Limited and hosted by Amar Gurung.

Addressing the program, Chairman Poudel said that the entry of Hilife’s products in Japan is an important beginning to connect Nepali farmers, Nepali products and Nepali identity to the international market.TAG_OPEN_p_15 He said that the company is committed to exporting the agro products produced in Nepal to the world market through quality processing, attractive packaging and effective identification.

On the occasion, President Poudel said that Nepalis living abroad could support Nepali farmers, industries and entrepreneurship through the use and promotion of domestic products, urging the Nepali community in Japan to use Hi-Life products.TAG_OPEN_p_12

} The company has been bringing this product keeping in mind Nepal’s traditional food culture and modern nutritional needs. According to the company, priority has been given to the promotion of millet and other local agricultural products to the international market through quality processing, packaging and identification manufacturing.

In the coming days, the company aims to expand its products to various cities in Japan as well as in the US, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

According to the company, the campaign to expand the international market would be accelerated with the objective of increasing the value of domestic agriculture products by establishing Nepali products in the world market.
