Kathmandu. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a charge sheet at the Special Court, Kathmandu, accusing Bindeshwor Sah Sudi of amassing illegal property by breaching the dignity of his office.

The CIAA has filed the charge sheet stating that Sudi had earned Rs 3,71,84,551 illegally in the period from 1990 to 2081 and failed to show the source of the same.

Sudi has earned Rs 603,85,030 from legal income from 2046 BS to 2081 BS.

According to the commission, Surveyor Sudi has found an expenditure investment of Rs 97.5 million 69,581 on all sides.

CIAA Spokesperson Suresh Neupon said that Sudi’s wife Sumitra Devi Sah has been named as a defendant in accordance with Clause 16 C, 29 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2017 and Section 47 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059 and Section 29 B of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Act, 1992.
