Kathmandu. Rasuwa: The banks of the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers are at high risk after a massive flood entered the Bhotekoshi River from the Tibet side.

The concerned authorities have urged the families living on the banks of the rivers in Rasuwa, Dhading, Gorkha, Chitwan and Nuwakot districts to stay in safe places.

People living near the river banks have been urged to adopt special precaution as the area on the banks of the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers is at risk up to Muglin due to floods. In case of search and rescue or any assistance, the people are requested to contact the toll-free number 1234 immediately.

People have also been urged not to travel on the Prithvi Highway, Galchhi-Nuwakot-Rasuwa-Syafrubesi road and Muglin-Narayangadh road in view of the risk of floods. It has also requested to completely ban the movement of people on these roads.

In view of the possible risks, people living along the river banks have been urged to move to safer places and follow the further notices issued by the administration.
