Kathmandu. A total of 28 bodies were found in different areas of Abukhaireni Rural Municipality and Devghat Rural Municipality in Tanahun district on Wednesday and 19 on Thursday.

The dead body was found during the search and rescue operation following the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday, police said. The 23 bodies recovered have been kept at Gandaki Hospital and five at the Provincial Hospital, Damauli, said Dwarika Prasad Ghimire, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Tanahu.
