Kathmandu. The Australian government has announced humanitarian assistance worth 5 million Australian dollars (about Rs 54.5 crore) for the relief and rescue of the communities affected by the devastating floods along the Nepal-China border.
The Australian government has announced a humanitarian assistance package to provide immediate assistance to communities affected by the floods. Consular and humanitarian assistance is also being rapidly deployed to respond to the disaster, according to the Australian government.
The assistance would be mobilized for relief, rescue and rehabilitation in the flood-affected areas.
