Rs 5.24 billion collected in Prime Minister Natural Disaster Fund

Kathmandu. So far, Rs 5.24 billion has been collected in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Fund for the flood victims.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, financial assistance has been raised for the victims through the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Fund and the Prime Minister’s Fund. The Office has made public the details of the amount received from home and abroad so far in these funds through the ‘Rescue Request Portal’.

The amount has been deposited in the accounts of nine commercial banks in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund till noon today. An additional Rs 21,43,232 has been deposited in Himalayan and Laxmi Bank.

In order to ensure transparent use of the assistance received in this difficult situation of disaster, proper management and protection from possible financial fraud, financial assistance has been requested only in the official ‘QR code’ made public by the government and the name of the account (Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Fund and Prime Minister’s Fund) (Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Fund and Prime Minister’s Fund). The details of the account have been made available on the official website of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
