Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company Limited has contributed Rs 1.51 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for relief, reconstruction and economic recovery of flood victims.

On August 10, there was a huge loss of life and property due to the severe floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers. The company has provided this amount under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to help in the relief and reconstruction of the families affected by the natural disaster.

The company’s Chairman Prema Rajya Laxmi Singh and Chief Executive Officer Suresh Prasad Khatri handed over the cheque of Rs 1.51 crore to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle amidst a special function held at a function held here today.

The company has expressed sorrow over the loss of life and property due to the unexpected natural disaster and urged its employees and agents to actively engage in rescue and relief work.
